• Avoid staying farther west than Agia Marina, as anything beyond that adds travel time into Chania’s Old TownAgioi Apostoli & Nea Chora are ideal nearby areas, located 15-20 mins by car from Old Town and close to several great beaches

• Our beach day will likely take place in Loutraki/Marathi area, which is the farthest east you should consider staying

• Staying in Old Town itself is less convenient - streets are narrow, parking is difficult and accommodations are mostly hotels and small apartments
